Veterinary
Technician Licensed
veterinary technicians handle virtually all aspects of patient care
including taking x-rays, drawing blood and other samples, running
diagnostic tests, giving treatments, performing minor procedures,
and assisting in surgery. They assist veterinarians in client communication
and education, and supervise veterinary assistants. Other duties
are assigned as needed.

Veterinary
Assistant
This person primarily assists
veterinarians and technicians with patient care. Other duties include
assisting receptionists with phone calls and record management,
running lab tests, and maintaining hospital cleanliness.
Veterinary Assistants have direct
contact with clients and pets and must therefore have good people
and animal skills. They are usually trained on the job. Additional
responsibilities such as inventory manager or records archivist
are often assigned to talented and responsible persons.
Team fit is very important to
us, so we will train the right person. Education and experience
are desired, but not required. Persons available to work some weekends
are preferred. Medical, dental, vision, and paid vacation available. |
